What a cookie is
A small file a website asks your browser to keep, so it can recognise you later. Some are necessary to make a site work. Most of the ones you have been asked to accept elsewhere exist to track you across sites for advertising.
What we set
Nothing for tracking. No advertising cookies, no analytics, no profiling. The contact form may set a short-lived technical cookie to protect against spam submissions, which is a security function rather than tracking.
Third-party elements
The contact page shows a Google map, and our typefaces are served by Google Fonts. Both reveal your IP address to Google under its own terms, which we do not control. Neither is used to identify you by us.
Why there is no cookie banner
Quebec Law 25 and the European rules both require consent for non-essential cookies. A site that sets none for tracking does not need to ask. If we ever add analytics, this page changes and a real consent choice appears with it. We will not add a banner that asks permission for things we are not doing.
Controlling cookies yourself
Every browser lets you view, block, and delete cookies from its settings, usually under Privacy. Blocking everything will break parts of many sites, though not this one.
Sites we build for clients
If we build your website, cookies become your responsibility as the site owner. We will tell you plainly what any tool you ask for will set, write the disclosure to match, and build consent properly where it is genuinely needed.
